I devoted my life to saving Jerusalem and expelling the Crusaders from Islamic lands. I always wanted to have a son so that he could continue my cause. I wished that if I could not save Jerusalem, it would happen to him. It didn’t happen. This is one of the reasons for my sadness. God is the helper of those who have a problem with God. If your goal had not come true, you would not have been granted this dream… nor would we have been given this pulpit.

This cause is based on the path, not the lineage, my sultan. There is mourning in your lineage, but who knows… maybe good news will come along the way. Which way? The path of the Prophet who ascended to Ascension from Jerusalem, of Hazrat Omar who planted the banner of Islam in Jerusalem, and of those who, just like you, went for this cause that was entrusted to them. There are many good news hidden on this path. Look at those who follow your path, not those who come from your lineage.
